This card is an adaptation of a design by Francoise Read for Crafts Beautiful mag, Dec. 2003. The snowy background was created using snowflake stickers which were sponged in Brilliance Pearlescent Jade ink. The stickers were removed to get a stencilled effect. Small silver holographic snowflake peel-offs were placed in the centre of each snowflake. The background effect is quite subtle so doesn't show well on the scan, but the photo can be enlarged enough to see the flakes (by clicking on the Printable button at the bottom of the page).
