The right hand edge of the cream hammered card was dry embossed using a Dreamweaver border stencil. For the left hand decorative strip, we took a piece of pink pearlescent paper and stamped it in white ink using a Hero Arts Florentine Scroll background stamp. This was embossed with Kaleidoscope embossing powder. One edge of the pink strip was punched with a Fiskars Lace border punch. The butterfly was stamped on to cream card and embossed in gold. We used Art Institute ultra fine glitter, in Rose Pink. After applying glitter, the wings were curled into shape. We also used small round pink Ornare gems to decorate the tips of the wings and the antennae. The butterfly was mounted on to the card using foam pads for a raised look. Gold ribbon was fixed to the left hand edge of the card for a finishing touch.
